Electro-clean UV is a modular solution for grease, smoke, and odour control, integrating electrostatic precipitation with UV ozone technology. Designed for commercial kitchens, it captures airborne particulates, reduces fire risk, and enables heat recovery for improved energy efficiency.

This high-performance system effectively removes grease and smoke particulates while neutralising odours, ensuring compliance with TR19 Grease – keeping your ductwork cleaner for longer.

For easy maintenance, the unit features an optional oil sump. Its modular design ensures straightforward installation and seamless integration with our ESP and activated carbon modules.

What does the UV stage add over a standard ESP?

The ESP captures grease and smoke particulate; the UV-C stage then breaks down remaining grease vapour and neutralises odour. In one unit you get particulate capture and odour control that would otherwise need two separate systems.

Can an existing Electro-clean ESP be upgraded with UV?

The modular design is built for exactly that: UV and activated carbon modules integrate with the ESP, so a system can be extended as your compliance needs grow rather than replaced.

Who installs and commissions it?

Your appointed ventilation contractor will normally install the equipment as part of the commercial kitchen canopy and extraction system. If you do not have a contractor, we can recommend a Plasma Clean Air Approved Partner. We specify the most appropriate filtration system, provide the necessary drawings and documentation, carry out a post-installation warranty check and offer ongoing servicing through our nationwide team of engineers.

Commissioning & Maintenance of Electro-clean UV

All Plasma Clean Air equipment includes a free commissioning visit and installation check, ensuring systems are correctly set up and operating at optimal performance from day one. This forms part of our complete approach to commercial kitchen filtration systems, supporting reliability from installation through to long-term use.

For added peace of mind, we offer extended warranty options of up to five years. This is supported by a structured maintenance programme designed to protect system performance and longevity.
