Can you monitor the quality of the air you breathe?
During the month of April, you have the opportunity to see and monitor the air in your building. Plasma Clean will deploy their intelligent IAQ monitors in your building and analyse the data over a 4 week period. You will then be issued with a full report of the data including your Risk Indicator Report and Indoor Air Quality Report.
– All of this for only £200!
We all have the right to breathe clean air.
90% of our time is spent indoors. So the quality of our buildings has a real impact on our health. By improving your indoor air quality you can significantly improve the wellness of your employees, increase productivity and reduce sickness.
We can help you to monitor and analyse indoor air quality and optimise your building ventilation system to allow everyone to enjoy cleaner, safer air. We use state-of-the-art air quality sensors and software analysis and by monitoring the air that we breathe, we can advise on the most appropriate solution whether it be service improvement, traditional filtration or the latest UVGI technology.
What does an indoor air quality monitor report on?
The information the monitor gathers is vital to tackle the indoor air problem within your building. The simple to use monitors provide visibility on a range of components so you can gain control over your space to create a healthy, energy efficient indoor environment.
The monitor dashboard provides an instant view of all of your sensors, room by room, with a tailored view to show you the key data and information you need, reporting on a range of components within the air such as:
- Carbon dioxide
- Particulate matter
- Volatile organic compounds
- Virus risk
- Air pressure
The Risk Indicator Report highlights any components that are elevated. This could therefore indicate a higher risk of infection spreading through the air. For example high levels of carbon dioxide and humidity combined with a high temperature is likely to create a high level of virus risk. These are conditions that enable viruses to thrive and spread easily.
The benefits of using an indoor air quality monitor
From a business perspective taking control of your indoor air quality can help to reduce costs long term. At the touch of a button you can plan ahead for staffing and events. You can track and assess your indoor air quality in real-time.
The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has, therefore, produced a concise guide to good practice: ‘Indoor Air Quality for Health & Well-Being’, which is designed to help building owners, managers and engineers interpret IAQ data and turn it into useful strategies for improving the indoor environment.
With an indoor air quality monitoring system in place, you can future-proof your business. Identify any areas that require further assessment as per the guide to good practice.
